Job Summary: Looking for a fill in Driver to cover additional hours. There will be a combination of some week day mornings and afternoons and some Sunday’s. The bus driver, accompanied by at least one additional counselor usually 2, picks up campers from the local YMCA branches or partnered locations in Winston Salem and transports them to Camp Hanes for the day or week. In the afternoon, the bus driver, accompanied by at least on additional counselor, drops campers off back at the local YMCA branches in Winston Salem. Typically, bus drivers spend three hours in the morning and afternoon (6 hours total) picking up and dropping off campers daily. Most weeks are covered but we are looking for an additional driver to cover vacation weeks. There are also additional hours available throughout the summer based upon camp needs each week for trips from camp to various partner trip location for camp programming and driver availability. Bus driver is also responsible for daily maintenance checks and fueling.
Schedule: Varied, hours may be 5:30 – 8:30 am and 4:00-7:00 pm Monday-Friday AND/OR Sunday from 11:30am- 3:30 and Friday 11:30- 3:30, AND/OR 9-11:30, 1:00-3:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Season Starts June 16th - August 9th
