Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, and in accordance with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Swim Lesson Deck Manager is responsible for supervising the Branch’s Swim Lesson Programs and ensuring their safe, efficient, and member driven operation.
Principal Activities: Greeting, interacting, taking attendance, and working with members involved in the programs Respond to patron inquiries and concerns and provide Branch information as needed Oversee all Group and Private Lessons while on duty. Step in as a Swim Lesson Instructor in case of absence and or class coverage needs. Enforce all facility policies, rules and regulations Facilitate timely and appropriate responses to member comments/complaints. Assist Aquatics Director in overseeing Swim Lesson Instructors Observe Instructors during classes and communicate with the Aquatics Director any concerns and best practices observed. Complete records and reports Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisor
