You will be a technical consultant to the sales force generating Project Scope of Works, block flow diagrams and equipment lists to enable generation of customer proposals. You will also be leveraged by the post sales team for project engineering and or on-going project consultation for our clientsYou will provide a technical review of Audio-Visual Projects including but not limited to end-user technical training and support to the implementation teams. You must have a comprehensive understanding and experience of the audio-visual industry, AV system design principles, IP Networks, Implementation and Deployment methodologies for both small- and large-scale projects.LOCATIONThis role will be based on the East or West Coast of the United States and will be remote, flexibility to travel to client sites or EOS locations for support and training would be expected.WHAT YOU WILL DOTechnically support Project Managers and Implementation Teams, including assistance with hands on and remote commissioning where required.Produce and or assist with technical training for internal and external end-users.Amend and adapt Audio Visual system design including CAD schematics and project requirementsKeep current with the technical aspects of the systems being installed through manufacturer training.Creation of system Scope Of Work and Bill of Materials for quotes to clients, this will include allocation of professional service hours.Review and approval of technical documents (Schematics, rack drawings, layout drawings and detailed technical info for IP systems) for handover to Project Management for deployment.Review and technical lead on project bids for client base.Provide status and feedback of the technical aspects of the projects assigned to the Project Manager, Engineering Department, and the Account Manager in the form of verbal and documented post-mortems to modify and improve internal and external processes and designs.ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:5 years Design experience working with the AV IndustryDegree level qualified in a formal technical discipline or 8 years professional AV industry experience in implementation and / or system support.Knowledge of design implementation, Installation or Service Experience of key technologies such asControl (Crestron, AMX, Extron)Audio (BIAMP, QSC, POLYCOM)Video (Cisco, Polycom, QSC, Crestron, Lightware, Teams, Zoom)AVoIP Design and DeploymentCTS certification or higherExcellent communication skills, and be confident when dealing with demanding clients, building contractors, architects, and other technical members of the project team.Knowledge of the following is expected for success in the role:Audio systems design including conferencing audio, digital sound systems, public address, event spaces.Video systems, large format displays, projection, video wall image processing.Control systems touchscreen controls, automation, and smart building technology.Video conference systems, integration techniques and deployment.Audio visual system infrastructure design and planning.Flexibility is required to accommodate working across time zones as part of a global team, including international travel upon notice if necessary.Full driving licence that will enable you to meet any driving requirementsDESIRABLE:CTS-D, CTS-I certificationsFormal BA in an Engineering FieldAutoCAD, BIM software or similarMicrosoft Excel, PowerPoint, VisioEase SoftwareShure, QSC, Lightware CertificationsEOS is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
