YETI's Talent Operations (HR Operations) team is responsible for providing expertise & support to the greater Talent Team and business across an array of focus areas. The Talent Operations Specialist – Workday Tier 1 Support is a new role supporting an HR shared services model that will launch alongside Workday in early 2024. We expect the Talent Operations Specialist to provide world-class service, use discretion and empathy, and operational excellence to address Tier 1 employee and people questions. Additionally, this role will be responsible for processing employee life cycle changes in Workday, and supporting continuous improvement of the HRIS.

Responsibilities:

  • Within the Talent Shared Services model, provide YETI employees with exceptional Tier 1 level support for HR and Workday-related inquiries
  • Assist Talent Operations and Talent Systems teams in set-up and launch of initial Tier 1 support system as part of company Workday go-live, including management of a centralized Talent Workday inbox
  • Manage, process, and support various HR lifecycle transactions in Workday such as: pre-boarding, onboarding (including I-9 verification), transfers, termination, offboarding, job, and personal data changes
  • Triage and respond to employee and people manager inquiries:
    • Workday system functionality, learning & development (L&D), benefits, payroll, time & absence, policies and procedures, etc.
    • Use policy and process documents to provide accurate and timely response and resolution to questions
    • Escalate to Tier 2 support, as required
  • Ensure all inquiries are addressed within the parameters of a master Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Attend New Hire Onboarding to collect required employment documents, process form I-9, submit E-Verify, and provide remote I-9 instruction and demonstrate general Workday functionality for new hires
  • Audit New Hire and Manager onboarding task completion in Workday for task completion, assist with task completion, escalate within SLA parameters · Assist with Tier 1 level reports and auditing in Workday as requested by stakeholders
  • Develop Workday-systems knowledge across all active modules, to serve as backup support for Workday Analysts as needed.
  • Provide back-up support for Talent Operations and Talent Systems teams
  • Perform other HR operational tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 0-2 years of relevant experience with HR Operations and Workday system
  • General systems-savviness, with the ability to quickly learn system processes & functionality. Shared services support model, inbox or ticketing system, "helpdesk" experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills required, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • History of handling confidential and/or sensitive information preferred
  • Experience in an employee-facing role preferred
  • Project coordination experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to balance detail & accuracy, with speed & prioritization: history of delivering quality work
  • Demonstrates sound judgment by utilizing available resources (I.E. policy, process and relevant employment law)
  • This role is hybrid in Austin, Texas and requires to be onsite on Monday - Thursday

US Workplace Approach:

  • Onsite: Role requires you to be onsite full-time.
  • Hybrid: Role requires you to be located in Austin, Texas and is a mixture of onsite and remote.
  • Remote: Role is full-time remote.
