Position Summary:

Teach undergraduate college courses in the field of Business Communication, including public speaking, writing, interpersonal dynamics, and related fields.

Position Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, teach, and provide follow-up for undergraduate courses in the Business Communication Department.
• Support students in their quest for success.
• Cooperate on curriculum development, lesson planning, and other departmental needs.
• Participate in faculty meetings and other school and university-wide initiatives.

Experience & Educational Background:

• Applicant must have an advanced degree in Business, Communication, Education, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:

• Applicant must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience teaching and/or training college students or adults.
• They must have an in-depth understanding of experiential education practices, and communication theories, and the ability to relate learning to the world beyond the classroom.
• Knowledge of the corporate environment is helpful.
