Your role as a CNA demands exceptional performance, including:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to monitor the residents' health status.
  • Document and report any change in resident’s health status to the registered nurses and doctors.
  • Assist with the care planning process by providing updates on patient status and care needs.
  • Assisting in the administration of medications under the direction of registered nurses.
  • Facilitate family visits, and maintain open communication with patients and their families.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols.

Those selected for this role need to satisfy these prerequisites:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices and protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Ability to work varying shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Capable of passing background checks and drug screening.
  • BLS certification is a plus.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18 years
