JOBDESCRIPTION - PROGRAM MANAGER – USA

ThePharmacovigilance Program Manager is responsible for directional leadership ofa dedicated Pharmacovigilance (PV) client that is contracted for an extensivesuite of PV services while collaborating with Client Services on standardservice offerings. The PV Program Manager acts with limited oversight andability to research, implement and manage PV services as contracted orrequested; is responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of US, Canadianand European PV requirements for investigational and marketed products; andensures compliance with all applicable regulations and internal SOPs.

Requirements

KeyRole and Responsibilities:

• Aminimum of 15-20 years of experience.
• Bachelors OR Masters Degree
• Handson experience in managing complex projects for large scale global LifeSciences/ Pharma Tier 1 & 2 customers.
• Experiencein executing large capital projects/ programs using various execution strategies.
• Handson experience in Program Management, Solution Delivery, Stakeholder Managementand Risk Management.
• Ensureall projects are delivered on time, within budget and keep track and flag scopechanges for revenues.
• Coordinateend-to-end with cross-functional workstreams to ensure those projectdeliverables are met.
• Developand manage comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well asother stake holders and monitor & track progress.
• Measureproject performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Buildand maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Performrisk management to minimize project risks.
• Developsystems and processes to automate program management process to improvesustenance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Proactivelyidentify and manage project issues and risks.
• Ensureeffective communications planning, stakeholder identification and engagement,regular status reporting to key stakeholders (internal and external).
• Understandingof project governance and/or Agile standards and procedures.
