Yarra Rivas & Associates has an immediate opening for a licensed associate attorney, bilingual in English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will have 1 year experience in Removal/ Deportation Defense, Family, Consular Processing and Asylum. In addition to courtroom experience, excellent writing skills required, as this position includes appellate work. Recent law school grads with a demonstrated interest in immigration law also considered.
Qualifications:
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to draft and review legal documents with attention to detail
- Experience in legal administrative tasks, such as managing case files and calendars
Preferred Skills:
- Willing to travel to San Francisco and other Immigration courts
