The law firm of Wilkins, Drolshagen & Czeshinski is seeking a full-time experienced personal injury Associate Attorney who has been admitted to the California bar.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury.
JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Attorney is responsible for handling cases from start to finish including all pre-litigation, court appearances, depositions, mediation and trial.
Responsibilities Include:
Initial in-person client interview;
Resolving PD and loss of use claims;
Drafting documents and letters to clients and insurance companies;
Medical bill reductions and negotiations;
Preparing files for demand and preparation of demand;
Negotiating and settling claims with insurance/adjusting companies;
Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions and other litigation documents;
Preparation of discovery requests and responses;
Conducting legal research and writing;
Effectively manages the demands of the firm's personal injury caseload while working independently with supervision from the firm's experienced attorneys.
Must be proactive, have strong organizational skills including exceptional attention to detail, ability to prioritize and excellent follow-through.
