Position: Account Manger/Outside Sales (Metals Service Center)

Territory: Central& Eastern North Carolina

Summary

Yarde Metals is looking for an experienced Account Manager to can maintain and expand market share in Central and Eastern North Carolina.

Responsibilities

Develop an account retention and sales growth plan.
Build strong, value-added business partnerships with customers.
Identify customer requirements and present products, services, and programs to meet their needs.
Secure contractual opportunities and increase sales through collaboration with product managers and inside sales associates.
Prepare itineraries, call logs, expense reports and update customer account information.
Assist the credit department with accounts receivable and collections activities.
Consult with marketing on promotional initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

High school graduate, college degree preferred.
Minimum (3) years sales experience in the metals industry.
Proven success in account management.
Experience directly related to the duties of the position.
Strong command of the English language with effective platform and communication skills.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Professional presentation.
Valid driver's license with clean MVR; must operate a company vehicle approximately 70% of the time and do so safely in various weather conditions.
Available to work extended hours and weekends to entertain customers.
