The Utility Superintendent will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of utility construction projects. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating resources, managing personnel, and ensuring that projects are completed safety, efficiently and within budget. The leadership, technical expertise, and organizational skills of the Utility Superintendent will be critical in driving the success of the utility infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project managers and engineering teams
• Coordinate with utility companies, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with project specifications, permits, and regulations.
• Plan and schedule equipment, materials, and manpower to optimize project efficiency and productivity.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans, quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers to address changes, modifications, and unforeseen challenges during construction.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in utility construction, including water, sewer, storm water, and electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials related to utility infrastructure.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations governing utility construction projects.
