Yanfeng Automotive Interiors is Hiring a Production supervisor Near Louisville, KY
The Supervisor Production is responsible for directing all activities within the assigned area of the production departments.
Ensures the on-time production of quality products. Provides production expectations and quality feedback to team members.
Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met.
Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report. Monitors quality of product throughout the production process. Ensures job training and daily job rotations are in place and enforced.
Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and schedule personnel in cooperation with the Production Manager (i.e. vacation, temporary workers, overtime work).
- Provides production expectations and quality feedback to team members in daily start up meeting.
- Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met while ensuring HSE and 5S policies and standards are followed.
- Train and monitor employee performance to ensure operator is certified and operator training matrix is updated and meeting departmental targets.
- Ensure compliance of the UAW contract, team member handbook, safety guidelines, all rules, programs and procedures that pertain to production team members.
- Monitors quality of product throughout the production process.
- Ensures job training and daily job rotations are in place and enforced.
- Participates in Team Leader meetings and Quality initiatives.
- Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities.
Qualifications :
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Production.
- 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
- Computer literacy.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
