What You Will Be Doing:

The Sales & Operations Support Rep supports various internal processes of each revenue pillar: prime product (engine), parts, and service sales and operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the three revenue pillars, prime product (engine) sales, parts sales, service sales with various tasks including: analytics and market research, data entry, tracking and logistics, billing / invoicing, customer support
  • Key sales department contact for engine specification and package data questions and changes including engine spec updates, pricing, submission of engineering change requests, and accountability for customer requested changes
  • Coordinate and participate in joint project kickoff meetings in conjunction with engineering and production departments, develop project timelines and scope of supply, work with the project team to develop, track and modify key milestone dates, hold team members accountable, and participate in regular project specific meetings
  • Coordinate purchasing of engine and major component inventory, assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity of that data within DBS (Dealer Business System) and the immediate correction of errors and omissions
  • Receive and process orders, including invoices and shipping notices, issue order acknowledgements
  • Schedule and coordinate customer visits and events e.g., key production milestones, witness tests, and trade show participation
  • Provide support for pre-sale and post-sale transactions to internal and external customers
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.
Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of and interest in diesel engines, power generation, hydraulic and mechanical drive train componentry
