Overview
As a Medical Assistant you will work closely with the provider to perform both non-invasive and routine patient care for both clinic locations on the east side. We are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating within a team, thrives in fast-paced work environments, and can maintain organization and efficiency in the office. You'll join a clinical team that support 12 providers, 8 midwives and 4 gynecologists.
Responsibilities
Prepare and sterilize exam rooms
Stock clinic supplies and equipment
Room patients and gather vitals
Perform and assist with in-office procedures, such as blood draws
Update and maintain patient recall system, includes continuity of care log for lab tests, referrals and transfers
Support provider during patient visits and procedures
Complete other assigned project/duties
Qualifications and Skills
HS Diploma or equivalent
Medical Assisting diploma
Current Medical Assistant credentials (CMA, CMAC, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NCCT, EMT)
Current BLS Health Care Provider certification
Prior phlebotomy experience preferred
Experience within Women's Health preferred
EMR/EHR software experience
Current on required vaccination/immunization records
Upon offer, ability to pass required pre-employment 10-panel UA
Upon offer, ability to pass required pre-employment background check
Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 Hourly Parking!
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 4/5:00PM) per patient appointments
