- Assisting new patients and referrals
- Answering phones and taking messages for providers
- Updating patient data into EMR software
- Scheduling patient appointments and follow-ups
- Verifying patients' insurance coverages
- Collecting co-payments
- Assisting with faxes, emails and practice communications
- 6 months of recent Medical office experience
- 1 year of recent Customer Service experience
- Prior Medical Reception/Scheduling experience preferred
- HIPAA trained
- Familiar with EMR software preferred
- Familiar with office email, faxes, filing processes
- Accurate data entry skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
