COMPENSATION: $20.00 - $21.00 Hourly
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (9:00AM - 4:00/5:00PM)
Local Holistic and Natural Medicine practice is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their Lake Oswego team! We're seeking a friendly and professional team member who can provide professional patient-focused customer service and support the practice with patients and their family members seeking primary care and specialty treatments. JOB DUTIES:
As the Medical Receptionist you support the front office and assist the providers with answering phones, taking messages, scheduling patient appointments, and more! Providing primary care, diet and nutritional services and natural treatments for acute and chronic diseases, you'll assist new and established patients with all their communication for the practice. Regular responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting new patients and referrals
  • Answering phones and taking messages for providers
  • Updating patient data into EMR software
  • Scheduling patient appointments and follow-ups
  • Verifying patients' insurance coverages
  • Collecting co-payments
  • Assisting with faxes, emails and practice communications
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
  • 6 months of recent Medical office experience
  • 1 year of recent Customer Service experience
  • Prior Medical Reception/Scheduling experience preferred
  • HIPAA trained
  • Familiar with EMR software preferred
  • Familiar with office email, faxes, filing processes
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
