Xtractor Depot is Hiring a Driver I Near Oklahoma, OK

The Driver will be concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Driver will put up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. This person will be working as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customers.

The Driver must be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing the customers with an excellent experience. This person should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying customers.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
  • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
  • Directing and relaying customer questions and feedback to the Customer support team for improving customer experience
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the State of Oklahoma.
  • Class C or Class B driver’s license required, Class A preferred
  • DOT Hazardous Materials Certification required
  • Clean driving record
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of truck driving experience required
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
  • Strong time management and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and HAZMAT is preferred.
  • Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow instructions.

Working conditions

This person may have to work on evenings, weekends, shift work, working outdoors, working with challenging clients, and so forth due to business needs. The normal business hours are Monday through Friday.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
