Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, checking them in, and efficiently entering their information into our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Additionally, the Medical Receptionist will be tasked with conducting drug testing as needed, adhering to all confidentiality and compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities: 

Warmly greet and check in patients upon their arrival

Accurately enter patient information into the EMR system

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Answer phone calls and schedule appointments as needed

Conduct drug testing for patients as required

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service delivery

Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations

Requirements

 Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred

Proficiency in using EMR systems and basic computer skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Understanding of medical terminology and procedures is a plus

Willingness to undergo drug testing certification, if not already obtained
