Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dive Safety Officer to ensure the safety of our dive team during underwater operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying hazards, assessing divers’ needs, and executing underwater emergency responses.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the safety of the entire dive team during underwater operations

- Proactively identify potential hazards and take necessary precautions to prevent accidents

- Assess divers’ needs and provide necessary support and equipment

- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for all dive operations

- Conduct safety briefings and trainings for dive team members

- Maintain and inspect dive equipment to ensure it is in good working condition

- Respond to underwater emergencies and execute appropriate emergency procedures

- Maintain accurate records of all dive operations and safety incidents

Requirements

Certification as a Dive Medical Technician or equivalent qualification.

- Experience in healthcare, preferably in emergency medicine or occupational health.

- Knowledge of diving physiology, decompression sickness, and other diving-related medical conditions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and respond calmly to emergencies.

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of medical care.
