As a Cloud Operations Engineer, You Will:

• Provide operational support to multiple teams, including customer support, onboarding, and process/policy creation.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement structured processes and best practices, ensuring efficiency and reliability in our operations.
• Utilize AWS services such as EC2, CloudWatch, S3, Redshift, Lambda, Kinesis, and SQS to optimize and streamline our cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage your experience in customer support to address inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
• Utilize SQL for data analysis and manipulation, contributing to informed decision-making and operational improvements.
• Manage Linux systems, including Amazon Linux and RHEL, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Grafana or similar tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Utilize APM tools such as Dynatrace to monitor application performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Utilize IT service management platforms like ServiceNow to streamline ticketing, incident management, and change management processes.

To Be Successful, You Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in operations or related roles, with a focus on customer support, cloud infrastructure, and process improvement.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services, particularly EC2, CloudWatch, S3, Redshift, Lambda, Kinesis, and SQS.
• Experience with SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
• Solid understanding of Linux administration, including Amazon Linux and RHEL.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or similar.
• Familiarity with IT service management platforms like ServiceNow is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• US Citizenship required.
