Description of Project:

• The client is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) who will be a member to the Infrastructure Team, will need to work closely with the Server System Engineers, and collaborate with client and Enterprise teams.
• The resource will help migrate to new versions of SQL and ensure the availability and optimization of the current MSSQL 2008 – 2022 databases.
• The resource may occasionally work with other database platforms such as Oracle.
• This position will need to have experience in ETL processes and knowledge of Azure SQL Database and Managed Instances.

Required Skills:

• Experience with SQL server applications and supporting components, including SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes.
• Experience in mentor IT staff and database design
• Experience in assessing and introducing new technologies to improve operation of database infrastructure.
• Experience as a lead worker in a team of subject matter experts of varying capacities
• Experience in Microsoft Azure SQL technologies.
• Experience with Always On and other High Availability SQL technologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
