Xenium's Implementation Specialist will play a key role in providing clients a "WOW factor" onboarding experience with end-to-end Payroll & HRIS module setup.

"So, what's the role?"

When we get the good news that another Pacific NW employer is trusting Xenium with their HR, Payroll & Benefits Administration – this role jumps into action! Together with a cross-department implementation team, the Implementation Specialist works magic with data (a whiz at Excel!) and serves as the primary “behind the scenes” system configuration guru. From data conversion to system configuration, this role is a master of the details. If data analysis and critical thinking are skills you possess, this role is right up your alley!

Managing multiple projects at one time, the Implementation Specialist requires steadfast organization and a collaborative communication style. While you have autonomy and independent work assigned, you work within a team that you depend on and depends on you! This role reports directly to the Director of Operations.

"What are some of the duties of the Implementation Specialist?"

70% Data conversion & System Set up for New Clients

  • New client set up inside Payroll/HRIS platform
  • Quality control, auditing (data system configuration/setup)
  • Data analysis & data formatting for upload into Payroll/HRIS platform
  • Processing of first payroll to ensure system set up & data conversion accuracy
  • Configure GL file as requested (new & existing clients)
  • Work collaboratively with payroll team to ensure seamless handoff to the ongoing service team
  • Conduct system demos for prospective clients
  • Lead live troubleshooting and/or client system training

20% System Demos & Client Training

  • Provide input and feedback on written training guides and other client training resources

5% Process Improvement

  • Seek process improvement for implementation cycle and overall internal and client experience for implementation

5% Individual Development

  • Continuously expand knowledge on payroll system and processes

  • Strong project management skills
  • Superior attention to detail & a knack for data analysis and critical thinking
  • Works collaboratively within a cross-functional team; good communicator
  • Serves others well, such as teammates and customers
  • Is process-minded and client experience-centric
  • Is known as a taskmaster - "Gets stuff done!"
  • Loves systems – troubleshooting, tinkering figuring things out!
  • Loves process improvement and finding ways to do things more efficiently and simply
  • Ideally has some experience in payroll processing or payroll implementation – even just a little!
  • PrismHR system experience, or implementation of any payroll and/or HRIS platform a huge plus!

This role has the flexibility to be fully in office (Tualatin, OR), hybrid, or fully remote; 8am-5pmPST.

Total compensation and salary range:

Xenium HR is committed to providing a competitive compensation package. The starting salary for this role ranges from $65,000-$75,000/year based on skills/knowledge, years of experience, and ensuring pay equity within the organization. The hiring team will share more details regarding compensation based on your experience and location during the interview process.
