What you’ll be doing

You will research and implement an algorithm for novel planned tracking technology enhancements in a multi-user eXtended Reality (XR) system. You will be working on cutting-edge wireless XR technology and will be responsible for data collection, algorithm design, development, coding, testing, and verification.

What you bring to XCOM

BS or MS student in computer science or computer engineering with coursework or experience in the following areas:

• Strong programming skills (C/C ) and fast prototyping skills with Python and/or MATLAB.
• Experience in computer vision. Previous research in Virtual/Augmented reality is a plus.
• Understanding of image-based tracking technology concepts (feature tracking, SLAM, etc).
• Familiarity with one game engine (Unity / Unreal Engine).
• Familiarity with video and audio codec utilization and optimization is a plus.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and networking tools.
• Fast learner and passionate about innovative VR/AR technology
