We are a well established physical therapy clinic with locations in both Moorpark and the Westlake Village/ Thousand Oaks area. We are looking for and aide to add to our team at our both clinic locations.
We treat anywhere from 175 to 200 patients a week, almost exclusively serving patients with sports related injuries, orthopedic, post-surgical, concussion, and balance and vestibular impairments. Patients vary from high school athletes to active seniors.

We are seeking an aide to assist with patient related care and to perform general clinic tasks under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist in a busy orthopedic clinic.
We are looking for someone comfortable interacting and communicating with patients.
Ultimately, we want you to provide patients with an excellent experience at our clinic. This type of experience will both improve the patient’s outcome and will make them want to come back.
Responsibilities / Duties:
-Provide exceptional environment for patients that they will look forward to coming back
-Develop patient trust through communication
-Direct and monitor patients through a plan of therapeutic exercises
-Accurately and timely enter therapeutic exercises into patient charts
-Print/email home exercise programs
-Apply modalities (ice, heat, electrical stimulation, ultrasound)
-General clinic tasks (including cleaning, laundry, and light front office tasks)
-Be able to professionally handle phone calls and take a message
Qualifications / Skills:
-Bachelors degree preferred (Kinesiology or related field preferred) but will consider junior or senior year applicants
-Being friendly and recalling names to make patients feel comfortable and welcome
-Be able to hold a conversation with a patient (15-20 minutes) during treatment
-Good social skills causing the patient to feel valued
-Self motivated / self starter who performs assigned tasks without having to be asked
-Demonstrate an ability to quickly understand and absorb new information
-Excellent ability to multitask
-Dependable and professional
-Attention to detail
-Prior experience working as a physical therapy aide is preferred

Hours:
We are looking to hire for multiple hours, Monday through Friday at both clinic locations.
Must be available Tuesday and Wednesday.
We desire applicants that plan to be employed at least approximately one year at our clinic.
