Lead Product Manager We are seeking a driven, highly motivated product leader to our product team and help shape the future of cloud security with a focus on Cloud Vulnerability Management. This solution provides cutting edge cloud workload assessment for vulnerabilities and critical risks that attackers can leverage to gain a foothold into customers’ environments. Rapid7’s InsightCloudSec solution helps customers protect an ever growing attack surface. This person will challenge convention and open up new possibilities with foresight, consideration, and positivity. The ideal candidate should have experience working with highly technical team members and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to obtain market insights directly or through customer-facing teams and you will own the product life-cycle end to end. About the Role Work with executive leadership, product and engineering teams to develop product plans aligned with market requirements and opportunities for growth Demonstrate an understanding of core product management disciplines that enable cross-team alignment and collaboration, roadmap prioritization, and go-to-market programs for new features and products Coach and mentor junior product managers and team members Work with customers, Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), and leverage market research to develop functional and technical requirements in partnership with engineering Lead cross-team collaboration for product planning, prioritization, development, launch and on-going enhancements that balance responsiveness to customer needs with strategic market impact Encourage data driven product decisions leveraging utilization metrics, user feedback and customer partnership Partner and guide a 25 person engineering and UX team to ensure the best possible user experience and customer value Work with product and marketing leadership to develop content, messaging and competitive positioning based on solid value propositions and real world use cases driving sales enablement and existing customer growth The skills you’ll bring include: 7 years of experience in product management roles Healthy curiosity, and obsession with understanding the customer problem Demonstrated success managing enterprise products in B2B markets Ability to work across 2-3 engineering sub-teams but maintain alignment across to ensure all are working towards a singular outcome Experience working with highly engaged end-users and delivering value through in-product experiences Demonstrated success launching product features, working with GTM and field teams. Strong organization and planning skills, experience with JIRA, Miro, etc Excellent communication skills and ability to craft messaging for internal, customer and executive audiences Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) or cloud infrastructure tools a plus Passion for research and keeping up to date with competitive and industry trends to help shape the future of our products Excellent understanding of product management principles and practices We know that the best ideas and solutions come from multi-dimensional teams.
