DESCRIPTION
The Amazon Customs and Trade Program and Product team is expanding footprint, services, and solutions to support our expanding client base. Join the dynamic team as a Principal Program Manager and put your customs brokerage, international trade and/or trade consulting experience to work creating a trade advisory offering for international traders globally.
The ideal candidate will be a thought leader able to envision the market need for a trade advisory offering and turn that vision into reality. The ideal candidate will have strong business judgement, have market awareness, and have a track record of developing and implementing new ideas while having fun.
Key job responsibilities
- Create from the ground up a trade advisory service supporting the international trade compliance needs of global traders
- Develop the business plan for the establishment of a global trade advisory offering
- Identify the solutions to be offered and products required
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for product development
- Develop a go-to-market roadmap

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7 years of program or project management experience
- 7 years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
