Wyndemere is Hiring an IT Support Specialist Near Wheaton, IL

Wyndemere Senior Living, located just outside of Downtown Wheaton, is currently searching for a personable full-time IT Support Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for providing on-site IT support to Wyndemere residents. You will also be partnering with business and technology professionals to support and maintain our technology, including end user computers, domain and email accounts, and peripheral equipment. This position assists in creating a best-in-class environment for our residents and staff using past experiences, creativity, and independent judgment. 

Salary Range: $52,000-$57,000 per year 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical support to the residents via on site interactions, email, phone, and our ticketing system
  • Complete work requests and assignments in a timely manner
  • Provide expertise for all hardware and software related problems and questions
  • Maintain an accurate software / hardware inventory
  • Maintain IT documentation regarding known issues and installation guides
  • Appropriately escalate tickets based on priority
  • Provide support for peripherals such as smart TVs, printers, copiers, and mobile devices
  • Adhere to all IT support guidelines and the departments IT code of ethics
  • Support and participate in common teamwork: cooperate and work together with all co-workers to plan and complete job duties

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in IT or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite
  • A basic understanding of computer network cabling and network file and print services
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
