The primary purpose of the smokehouse operator is to ensure all product is cooked in a safe and efficient manner to the highest possible quality.

• Verify work and storage areas are maintained, safe, clean and organized.
• Perform pre-operational and in-operational evaluations on rooms and machinery, correct as necessary.
• Load and unload product into and out of ovens.
• Understand and rotate product when needed.
• Monitor each smokehouse for accurate cooking process.
• Set oven controllers to correct program indicated in product specifications.
• Load auxiliary equipment with material and ingredients
• Monitor oven cycles
• Perform various tests at required intervals, complete documentation
• Report detected inconsistencies
• Monitor work environment for general food safety hazards (i.e. condensation, excess smoke, etc.)
• Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP)
• Lift/push up to 80 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
