Duties:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain case files, including indexing and filing documents
- Assist in drafting contracts and other legal documents
- Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings for attorneys
- Provide administrative support, such as answering phone calls, managing calendars, and organizing meetings
```Qualifications:```
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in legal case management software and tools
- Knowledge of legal research methods and resources, such as Westlaw
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
- Familiarity with litigation procedures and court rules
- Clerical skills for maintaining records and filing documents accurately
- Professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients and other parties involved in the legal process
Prior experience as a paralegal assistant or similar role is preferred.
