Wurtec is Hiring a Material Handler Near Toledo, OH
- Practices safe work habits and complies with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.
- Process and pick materials from the warehouse and deliver to production personnel using ladders, pushcarts, forklift or manually operated pallet jack
- Properly count, identify, and organize material to ensure jobs can be processed in a timely manner.
- Move completed subassemblies or jobs to other workstations, stock, transfer or directly to shipping.
- Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly boxing and storing goods in their designated location.
- Record inventory movement and transactions utilizing a computer and/or handheld device.
- Communicate effectively with Purchasing, Production Schedulers, Shop Supervisors, etc. verbally
- Ensure housekeeping duties are performed. Keep the warehouse stock locations and work areas organized and clean.
- Full-time/in-person attendance is an essential function of this job.

- Aptitude for learning company ERP, Epicor.
- Basic computer skills, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
- Detail oriented, flexible, and exhibit effective prioritization and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Works effectively both independently and as a team.
- Works in a time effective manner and follows systematic approaches and conducts appropriate follow-up.
- Service and detail oriented.
- Can take directions and provide back-up support where needed.
- Experience in a manufacturing facility.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a related position
- High School Diploma or GED
