Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse or distribution center environment.

Duties:

- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries
- Move goods to and from storage areas, production lines, loading docks, and delivery vehicles
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Ensure safe operation of the forklift and adherence to company safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate inventory records of products transported as well as data entry into computer systems

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Valid drivers license
- Familiarity with various types of forklifts such as clamp trucks, order pickers, cherry pickers, lift trucks, and pallet jacks
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform equipment repairs as needed
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and control
