What You Will Do: As the Senior Engineering Specialist for the group, you will 

• Provide work direction to the DCM technical staff and coordinate production effort for 3D modeling, ProjectWise data management, and iModel creation.
• Develop 3D models including grading, roadway, drainage, bridge, and related designs on transportation related projects using OpenRoads Designer and OpenBridge Modeler.
• Understand and manage data within ProjectWise Design Integration. This will include multiple file types, multiple authoring tools (both Bentley and non-Bentley) and data from other sources. The intent is to be able to quickly understand what information we have, collect it in an organized way, and publish it to an iModel to be used as design and construction management tool.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to create, publish and manage iModels in Synchro Control and / or 4D Pro.
• Create 3D models and participate in managing the design and construction process within web based and cloud connected data environment.
• Be able to work closely with a team of engineers to create best practices and workflows.
• The ability to learn and adapt to new situations in a prompt manner.

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have an

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or similar degree from an accredited school, and 10 years of experience in transportation engineering or related field. 
• 15 years of experience in transportation engineering or related field is preferred
• You will have the ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a strong understanding of engineering software packages, specifically Bentley OpenRoads, SYNCHRO, ProjectWise, OpenBridge Modeler, Civil 3D, and SYNCHRO 4D Pro. 
• Additional experience with ProjectWise, iTwin, ArcGIS, & Autodesk Products is a plus, but not required.
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. 
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position.
