Wrought Washer Mfg., Inc. is Hiring a CNC Operator - 2nd Shift Near Racine, WI

Diversified Tooling Innovations is searching for a 2nd Shift CNC Operator.

$1500 Sign-on Bonus

Monday through Friday 2pm to 10pm

Duties and Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To

  • Work from instruction, method and process sheets, set-up charts, shop orders, part drawings, and specifications.
  • Process parts subject to first piece layout inspection approval then follow gauge plan thereafter.
  • Operate machinery and inspect parts to insure parts being produced; retain tolerance, squareness, concentricity, parallelism and finish. Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties.
  • Troubleshooting production problems to include; reading part drawings, adjusting offsets and replacing dull or damaged tooling.
  • Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
  • Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.

Requirements

  • A qualified applicant will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of CNC machining experience, preferably on CNC Lathes.
  • Desire experience with CNC Lathes (Mori Seiki - Daewoo - Fuji), "G" code, metric measuring and World Class or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Prefer ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Must have knowledge of basic mathematics. Desire experience using precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. CMM experience a plus.
  • Desire the ability to solve tooling and set-up problems with minimal technical supervision.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.

Compensation is based on skills an abilities.
