JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Cleaner to maintain our short-term rental units to the highest standards. This position requires long workdays but offers fewer working days each week, providing a balanced schedule. Sundays and Mondays will primarily require more hours per day, typically ranging from 3-12 hours per day. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of properties between guest stays, restocking supplies, and ensuring all units meet our cleanliness and presentation standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and has a strong work ethic, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Clean and sanitize all areas of the rental unit, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces, and common areas.

● Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all are fresh and clean for new guests.

● Replenish essential supplies such as toiletries, kitchen items, and cleaning materials.

● Ensure all consumables are adequately stocked for the next guest.

● Report any damages, necessary repairs, or missing items to management promptly.

● Empty all trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.

● Ensure recycling procedures are followed.

● Arrange furniture and decor to maintain a tidy and welcoming appearance.

● Ensure all appliances are in working order and properly cleaned.

● Complete all cleaning tasks efficiently within the allocated time between guest check-out and check-in.

● Manage time effectively to accommodate back-to-back bookings.

● Ensure the property is guest-ready, with all amenities in place and functioning.

● Create a welcoming atmosphere by following specific setup guidelines for each property.

● Coordinate with property management for any special requests or additional tasks.

● Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

● Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning supplies and equipment according to guidelines.

● Adhere to health and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for guests.

REQUIREMENTS

● Strong organizational and cleanliness skills.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, property owners, and team members.

● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

● Familiarity with modern technology.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

● High School Diploma or GED required

● Previous cleaning experience preferred but not necessary

● Valid Driver’s License required
