The Role

The Material Support Manager is responsible for maintaining sufficient inventory, and handling and processing aircraft material as required by the Company, while managing a team of material support personnel. This candidate will report to the Director of Maintenance and the CEO. 

Is this a remote position?

This is not a remote position. Candidates will report for duty at our Phoenix (Deer Valley) AZ office.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

· Manage a team of material support personnel

· Research new vendors and contracts

· Negotiate discounts

· Search for parts and materials

· Order parts

· Issue PO’s, sales orders, and invoices

· Manage inventory at several locations

· Perform inventory reconciliation

· Understand and manage shelf-life limited material

· Understand and manage limited aircraft parts

· Work with multiple shipping companies

· Work with the Director of Aircraft Maintenance and other management as necessary

Requirements:

· Must have a working knowledge of Corridor Aviation Software

· Knowledge of hazmat shipping and handling

· Familiar with ESDS and preventative procedures

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Must be able to occasionally travel for meetings, audits, or projects

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screenings

· Must possess a valid clean driver’s license that is insurable by the Company
