Position Overview:

Pool Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintenance, repairs and cleaning of pools, spas, and associated equipment. Your role is to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the aquatic facilities.


Key Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Regularly inspect and maintain swimming pools and spas to ensure proper operation and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Clean and sanitize pool surfaces, walls, and fixtures to maintain water quality.
  • Perform routine water testing, adjust chemical levels as requested by pool maintenance manager, and ensure proper filtration and circulation.
  • Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders.
  • Troubleshoot and report faulty pool equipment to ensure continuous operation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on pool machinery and equipment as directed by manager.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on pool machinery and equipment.
  • Handle and store pool chemicals, minerals, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Maintain an inventory of pool supplies, organize, and replenish as needed.
  • Aid and assist with repairs as needed.
  • Respond to emergency situations such as leaks, and equipment malfunction.


Attributes and Requirements:

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Certification in pool maintenance is a plus.
  • Previous experience in pool maintenance or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of pool chemistry and water treatment.
  • Basic understanding of pool equipment and machinery.
