As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building class diagrams, creating logical models, and designing relational database models to support our Personal Banking Product, including Credit Cards, Retail Banking, Mortgage, and Personal Loans.Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the data landscape of our Personal Banking Product. If you have a passion for data modelling and analysis and are eager to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.Role and Responsibilities:Develop class diagrams and comprehensive logical models to represent complex data structures.Design and implement data models for efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements effectively.Utilize strong communication skills to engage with business stakeholders, ask pertinent questions, and clarify requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.Work closely with the Data Warehousing/Architect team to integrate data models into the overall data architecture.Ensure data models adhere to best practices, standards, and guidelines.Actively participate in team discussions, sharing insights, and contributing to the collective knowledge base.Analyze and interpret data to derive meaningful insights and support decision-making processes.Maintain awareness of industry trends and advancements in data modelling techniques and tools.Required Experience and Education:3-5 years of experience in data modelling, preferably in a FinTech environment handling Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW).Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proficiency in building relational database models and business data modelling.Strong understanding of information modelling concepts and methodologies.Familiarity with Personal Banking products and processes is a plus.Necessary Skills and Attributes:Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by contract employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
