▶ About This Opportunity

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the Customer Insights team. This role is part of a small strategic team whose mission is to embed customer thinking into everything we do. Harnessing the power of various data platforms, you'll uncover invaluable insights, track project progress, create compelling surveys, generate insightful reports, and interpret data to guide actionable business decisions. You'll work with syndicated and secondary data tools, unlocking meaningful insights that compliment primary data. You will support customer insights across our family of brands (Slurpee, Big Bite, Big Gulp, Stripes, etc.) and across our different channels. 

You thrive at working in a fast paced retail environment and thrive at utilizing various data sources to develop unique customer insights. This is a great opportunity for someone who can think strategically but also dive deep into data to identify untapped opportunities.

-- Design, program, and analyze research studies leveraging best-in-class tools, such as Alida, Qualtrics, Alchemer, Google Analytics, Medallia and more

-- Compile and organize primary and secondary research projects into a coherent, focused collection of insights using 7-Eleven’s Insights Library

-- Ensure data accuracy, aligning data sets to stakeholders’ objectives for reporting and analysis

-- Ensure timely delivery of internal insights and market research reports, maintaining clear communication with internal teams regarding project timelines and progress

-- Leverage syndicated data from various sources (NielsenIQ, Datassentials, NPD, Mintel, Kantar, etc.) to help bridge gaps from preliminary research 

Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelors/4yr degree

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 yrs

-- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, strategy, or related field

-- 2 years of relevant work experience

-- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required 

-- Experience with Customer Feedback Management Platforms such as Alida, Qualtrics, Alchemer, Google Analytics, Medallia preferred

-- Superior writing, logic, and interaction skills

-- Excellent analytical and organization skills, coupled with an attention to detail and accuracy

-- Experience collaborating with team members in a high-throughput, deadline-driven, process-oriented environment

-- Highly organized and strong attention to detail. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

-- Experience analyzing results and/or communicating research results to stakeholders is a plus

-- Ability to solve problems both independently and as part of a team through a structured approach
