WHO we’re looking for:
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist (GPCA) who will be responsible for providing assistance with GPCA Account Receivable reporting and analysis. You will participate in monthly A/R reports, managing overall GPCA A/R activities, A/R collection, bad A/R management, A/R write off, credit block release and provide detailed accounting analysis to the manager. The position requires high level of ownership and accountability to manage and improve A/R KPI.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Perform functions for accounts receivable daily responsibilities and tasks.
  • Manage collections of outstanding account receivables.
  • Make outbound collection calls and emails in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
  • Manage Aging balance and all transactions for assigned accounts.
  • Perform new customer accounts creation, monitor credit limit expiry in the system and advise accounts owners.
  • Perform daily order block release.
  • Prepare and communicate various daily, weekly or monthly A/R activity reports to stakeholders.
  • Perform various Ad Hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Cash posting approval, credit evaluation and manual credit release.
  • A/R and bank cash reconciliation.
  • Manage A/R accounts' open items and clear them in a timely manner.
  • Enhance and maintain accounts receivable reports to monitor customer balances and payment trends.
  • Report detailed bad A/R status and initiate bad A/R collection, insurance claim, bad A/R write off and management reporting.
  • Manage and improve A/R KPI.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Preferred 2-4 years of professional experience in related area (Accounting or Finance).
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related financial discipline (flexible w/major if candidate has sufficient professional experience in related area).
  • ERP system experience (preferably SAP).
  • Data mining and analysis experience is a must – w/ ability to produce ad hoc reports for use by direct supervisor and leadership.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise ofdiscretion.
  • Advanced skills in Excel – heavy use of Excel in this role.
  • Enthusiastic and eager individual who is willing to learn and grow with the team.

Specific visionabilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objectsby using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminalbetween 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.Requires considerable (90% ) workutilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, andmoderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normallyperiodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectualchallenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. Mayrequire working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
