Desired Skills

  • Experience in recurring revenue models and billing methodologies. (XaaS, Consumption, usage models)
  • Experience in billing and revenue management, order to cash relating to subscription or SaaS (Software as a Service) based lines of business.
  • Working knowledge of business applications to support quote-to-invoice business processes (CRM/ERP tools such as Oracle NetSuite, RecVue, Salesforce Billing & Revenue Management, Coupa, Etc.)
  • Experience designing & implementing integrations with upstream (quoting) and downstream (invoicing/AP/AR/general ledger) applications.
  • Experience in system implementation/solutions, crafting policies for software operations, and subscription management
  • Experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies is required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication for both a technical and non-technical audience.

Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
  • 2-5 years in designing and implementing solutions in a SaaS environment or have worked in revenue or finance operations.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in recurring revenue product offerings and/or billing models that support recurring revenue.
  • 2-5 years of experience working directly with business stakeholders.

WWT (World Wide Technology) is looking for an Agile Product Owner to assist with teams' and individuals' delivery of valuable software solutions. The Product Owner is a connector, orchestrator, and navigator between the IT (Information Technology) Organization and the Business, ensuring that the product delivered meets the needs and business requirements of our business partners. The Product Owner turns vision into reality and, with the solution architect, helps guide the delivery team to create innovative solutions in real-world applications.

An ideal candidate must have previous experience owning one or more products and have a solid understanding of product management techniques, and a background in recurring revenue offers and/or billing systems. An IT Product Owner plays a key role withinagile development teams and is responsiblefor translating the strategic vision outlinedby the IT Product Manager into actionabletasks and features that the developmentteam can implement. Acting as a bridgebetween stakeholders and the developmentteam, the Product Owner plays a crucial rolein defining, prioritizing, and managing theproduct backlog. They work closely withstakeholders to gather and distillrequirements, ensuring that thedevelopment team has a clearunderstanding of what needs to be built andwhy.

Throughout the development process,the Product Owner makes decisions onpriorities, clarifies requirements, andprovides continuous feedback to the team.Additionally, they participate in sprintplanning, monitor progress, and collaboratewith the quality assurance team to ensurethe final product aligns with customerexpectations and business objectives. Therole demands a combination of technicalunderstanding, business acumen, andeffective communication skills to successfullyguide the development team in delivering aproduct that meets both customer needsand organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Ensures alignment and continuity with the Product Manager and business vision. Communicates a clear vision and strategy for the product or service being developed.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals, ensuring that the development team has a clear understanding of what needs to be built.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensurethat the product is developed in accordance with the Agilemethodology, including defining and prioritizing user stories andmanaging the product backlog.
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings, help theteam understand the scope of work for each sprint, and ensure thatthe development process stays on track.
  • Collect and integrate customer feedback into the productdevelopment process, ensuring that the final product meetscustomer expectations and needs.
