• Clear communication is vital in compliance. Document findings, recommendations, and compliance actions; confidently and effectively present it to top management in a timely and comprehensive manner.

• Skill set:

• Strong Writing Skills: Craft concise and accurate reports.
• Collaborate with various Legal Teams: Communicate compliance matters effectively.

• Investigating potential violations. Leverage audit experience (if any) to conduct thorough investigations. Using insights for prevention through Compliance analytics to recognize potential new fraud and compliance risks.

• Skill set:

• Investigative Techniques: Understand how to gather evidence, interview relevant parties, and document findings.
• Use Advanced Analytics Techniques: Such as Rules-based monitoring to identify known fraud and compliance risks; Anomaly detection to recognize potential new fraud and compliance risks; Network analysis to identify potentially worrisome collusive activity across entities, etc.
• Apply Critical Thinking: Analyze data and facts objectively during investigations and analysis.

• Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies, across departments, e.g. Commercial, IT, HR, ESG, etc. and empowering them. Thinking outside of the box, and not just apply 'bandages'.

• Skill set:

• Create Risk Assessment Dashboards: Use data analytics to monitor risks in real time.

• Connect with Stakeholders: Collaborate with legal teams, business units, and regulators to assess risks effectively.

• Understand Compliance Regulations/ licenses & permits in high-risk jurisdictions.

• Skill set:

• Learn the Regulatory Landscape: Understand the specific compliance requirements relevant to the organization.
• Stay Updated: Regulations evolve, so continuous learning is crucial.

• Legal compliance requires ethical decision-making. Uphold integrity and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
