World Heritage Student Exchange Program is Hiring an Area Representative Near Buncombe, NC

About us

Our goal is to place exchange students with qualified families. This position is quite flexible; place as many students as you want or can place. Our busy time is spring and early summer!

Responsibilities:
- Recruit and select qualified individuals to become host families for international students
- Conduct interviews, home visits, and background checks to ensure suitability of host families
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to host families throughout the student's stay
- Act as a liaison between host families, students, and the organization
- Coordinate and facilitate orientations and training sessions for host families
- Monitor the well-being and progress of students placed with host families
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise between host families and students

Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with students or in a social work capacity
- Ability to educate and provide guidance to others
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and needs
