Maintenance Mechanics perform a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment and facilitates in optimum operating condition.

These activities include but are not limited to :

• Following all safety rules and practices
• Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components;

and observing operations, vibrations, and noise level

• Performing emergency / break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
• Accurately using measurement and test equipment
• Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks
• Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervision Individual must possess the following qualifications : Requires :
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team Preferred :
• Skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulics
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post High School training preferred
• Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices
• Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience
• Ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team
