Salesperson for Wireline or Downhole services to oil and gas – Emphasizing Quality and Technology

Job Description: You will be responsible for driving sales growth through both acquiring new customers and expanding the sales to current customers. You need to be able to establish strong relationships with oil and gas operators and gas storage customers. Our focus is on highlighting the value and benefits our advanced technologies offer, emphasizing quality and technology over price. We are looking for someone with experience selling Wireline services such as logging, remedial, and pipe recovery, or Downhole Tools services including Drillouts, P&A, Remediation, and Workovers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • You will identify and pursue new business opportunities with oil and gas operators and gas storage customers primarily in West Texas and NM.
  • You will develop an in-depth knowledge of our products and technologies, effectively communicating the value proposition, emphasizing quality, technology, and the competitive advantages we provide as a solution to our customers’ issues.
  • Leverage the relationships you have with key decision-makers and build new ones. Work to understanding our customer’s unique requirements.
  • Utilize your knowledge of the market and conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • You will have a world class engineering and operations team to support your efforts, as part of this team you will collaborate with the team to provide tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of each customer.
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth and contributing to the overall success of the company will be your daily goal.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • You have a proven track record of success in sales within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on selling wireline and/or downhole tools to operators and gas storage customers.
  • From your time in the industry, you have a strong understanding of the oil and gas sector, including industry trends, challenges, and customer needs.
  • Listening to and talking with people is natural for you. You bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You are comfortable engaging with decision makers at all levels.
  • To articulate the value of our advanced solutions you have a technical acumen and the ability to grasp complex concepts.
  • You combine a consultative sales approach with exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, is natural for you.
  • You are comfortable facilitating resolutions to customer issues.
