The Speech-Language Pathologist will perform screenings, assess patient condition per ordering physician prescriptions, and design therapy and treatment plans to help the patient develop necessary communication and/or swallowing skills. The Speech-Language Pathologist will be knowledgeable in all patient care duties and documentation requirements for the following departments of Cayuga Medical Center: Emergency, Acute, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatient Therapy Services, and Imaging for Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies. The Speech-Language Pathologist will be caring, empathetic and knowledgeable about communication and swallowing conditions and therapies.
