WorkCare Inc. is Hiring a Director of Finance Near Anaheim, CA

Job Summary

The Director of Finance will be responsible for design, preparation, analysis and distribution of management level financial summaries and reports. This position will partner with Operations and Functional teams to deliver the company’s strategy, commitment, and goals. The Director of Finance has full responsibility for oversight of the budgeting and annual reporting process and with the executive staff and their team members, support, interpret, understand, and carry out company’s vision and strategic intent.

This is a hybrid position which will work from our corporate headquarters in Anaheim 3-days per week and remotely 2-days per week.

Responsibilities

The Director of Finance will have excellent skills in organizational management with the ability to effectively lead, manage and develop high-performance teams to build and implement strategies to accomplish the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Performs, publishes, and presents financial results and analysis including KPIs
  • Provides Operations Support
  • Manages the design, preparation, and distribution of internal financial reporting
  • Maintains and owns the budget, forecasting, trending, and all forward looking information
  • Performs Cash Flow forecasting
  • CapEx ROI and monitoring
  • MD&A reporting
  • SG&A cost oversight and budgeting
  • Analyzes customer profitability
  • Oversees Customer collections and forecasts
  • Ensures billing accuracy
  • Commission calculation and reporting
  • Regional Regulatory Compliance
  • Analyzes Bad Debt Allowance sufficiency
  • M&A analysis and post-close monitoring
  • Coordinate, develop and update written workflow policies and procedures over select functional processes.
    • Identifies efficient methods for processing information. Initial projects may include reviewing, documenting, and enhancing WorkCare’s billing process
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • BA/BS Degree, MS/MBA degree preferred
    • 3 years’ experience as a Director of Finance, or relevant positions with increasing levels of responsibility. 
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
    • Ability to coach and lead in effectively managing and developing high-performance teams.
    • Strong critical thinking skills; problem solving, and decision making.
    • Must have the ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to create and edit written materials and present numerical data effectively.
    • Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.
    • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
    • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
    • Strong time management, organizational, and follow-through skills.
    • Ability to meet and exceed daily and weekly individual performance goals.
    • Ability to work independently as well as assisting other team members when needed.
    • Requires regular and predictable attendance and punctuality. 
  • Computer Skills
    • Exceptional Excel skills is required.
    • Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed.
    • Familiar with Sage Accounting software and Project Management software is preferred.
  • Physical Demands
    • Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
    • Some bending and stretching could be required.
    • Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
    • Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
    • Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
    • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. 
  • Work Environment
    • Mainly indoor, office environment conditions.
    • The noise level is usually moderate.
    • Air quality is good, and temperature is controlled.
    • Remote Work arrangements: Work environment must be free from background noise and distraction. At home set up must meet all Company IT, privacy and safety requirements.

This position has a salary range of $170,000-$180,000. This position is eligible for the Company’s management bonus plan.
