Responsibilities for the Electrical Division Manager:
  • Demonstrated familiarity with various electrical concepts, best practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Supervise administrative and customer service operations across Electrical Service, New Construction, and Commercial Division.
  • Foster transparent and positive communication channels with employees, division managers, general manager, departments, customers, and vendors through verbal and written means.
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels and workload distribution to align with customer and business demands.
  • Crafting competitive bids and accurate estimates for electrical projects.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and advocate for policy enhancements as necessary.
  • Oversee the efficient functioning of the Electrical Division and exercise control over expenses.
  • Take a proactive and reactive approach to managing electrical personnel, including recruitment, training, motivation, career development, performance evaluations, and safety protocols.
  • Lead and facilitate weekly tech meetings and safety training sessions.
  • Conduct annual merit reviews and devise development plans for service personnel.
  • Evaluate division productivity and propose strategies for enhancing customer service and profitability.
  • Uphold high standards of service delivery, emphasizing efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Supervise warehouse, inventory, and vehicle management activities.
  • Establish and maintain maintenance schedules for service accounts.
  • Coordinate and schedule all scheduled maintenance, replacement, and customer service work orders.
  • Aid or assign support for technicians on accounts to ensure work quality.Top of Form
Requirements for the Electrical Division Manager:
  • Possession of a valid and insurable Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of management experience in Electrical.
  • Preference for certifications and training in Electrical.
  • Current Oregon General Supervising/Electrical license is a requirement.
  • Service Titan experience preferred.
  • Proficient in professional, clear, and concise communication with team members, management, and customers in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Capable of lifting, climbing stairs and ladders, and working in confined spaces.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, adept at multitasking, skilled in problem-solving
  • A keen sense of urgency, flexibility, and ability to follow through on tasks promptly and effectively.
  • Possesses a positive attitude conducive to a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Punctuality and a clean presentation are expected.
