JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Perform research and other duties in new haptic soft robotic gloves with integrated flexible and stretchable electronics.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The postdoctoral research associate will perform research on:
- reliably integrating flexible electronics and stretchable sensors and traces onto stretchable textiles to realize a comfortable soft robotic haptic glove that accurately tracks the motions of fingers, palm, lower and upper arm in real time
- fabricating haptic muscles that can be actuated by low pressure and volumes of air, enabling fine force feedback and a small portable air compressor.
- software and control challenges and machine learning approaches to improving teleoperation and training through a robotic testbed.
