Because of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Transportation Planning Intern.
The Planning Intern will work alongside the Woolpert Transportation group on various projects, learning how to apply GIS mapping and analysis, graphics support, public involvement, client communications, and full report production including writing and editing. Our clients include federal, state, and local government agencies; development firms; Metropolitan Planning Organizations; public-private partnerships; and all projects include the implementation of planning principles. Our projects directly impact the communities through context-sensitive design.
• Work as part of the Woolpert Transportation Group• Gain real-world experience working alongside planners, architects, engineers and other designers• Learn about developing plans that are customized to each of our client’s needs as well as the planning context in order to establish a long-range vision for sustainable, equitable, and safe multimodal transportation networks and communities
