Summary:

Cleaning all areas ofthe Community by performing daily cleaning of resident apartments, commonareas, restrooms and offices.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma orEquivalent
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to push/pull housekeepingcart, vacuum and carpet cleaner
• Professional positiveattitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicateeffectively in English
• Ability to embrace themission and culture of the organization

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs daily cleaning of resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices in a clean and sanitary manner and in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
• Performs terminal/detailed cleaning of residents’ apartments.
• Cleans and maintains carpet and other floor types.
• Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
• Performs high and low dusting.
• Ability to determine and utilize the appropriate cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Follows all infection control practices/standard precautions.
• Observes safety precautions at all times and reports safety hazards as appropriate.
• Replenishes supplies.
• Uses and maintains equipment properly.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Always introduces self to residents, families and visitors.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
