This position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to process sales on a POS system throughout the day. The ability to multi-task is a requirement as this can be a somewhat busy environment. Being able to problem solve on your own and communicate with other departments is a must.

When it comes to purchasing landscaping products or disposal of debris, we are a solid choice for those in the area. We take in debris such as branches, dirt, and concrete and have outgoing bark, soil, and rock products. You will be learning about the products we carry and be knowledgeable about the services we offer. City Bark & Recycling is a convenient way for landscapers and homeowners to get products to refurbish their yards and to dispose of debris.

You will be responsible for taking and scheduling deliveries, keeping a clean and tidy workspace, providing a positive attitude, and completing sales with customers.

Qualifications

• Capable to work a 10-hour shift (6:30 am start time)
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Ability to keep a balanced cash drawer
• Reliable transportation
• Strong customer service skills
• Maintain a tidy work environment
• Phone etiquette, able to take messages
• Previous Cashier/Sales Associate experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Docs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
